I love daisies! White and yellow-gold with their pretty frilly greenness . . . a sweet un-complicated flower.
I like the simple pleasures of life . . . a walk in the forest; the beach on a cloudy breezy day; the smell of rain and the magical aroma of a pine-forest and the bush in the early morning; cuddling my cat and walking my dog, not to forget time with family and friends (quite important, that one!).
I enjoy lots of different kinds of art forms and just LOVE creating things. If I think of it, then I want to create it! I'd rather not use other people's patterns if I can help it because I want my artworks to be thoroughly, originally, mine (as far as that's possible anyway).
Besides painting and drawing I also enjoy sewing and have developed fabric sculptures, designed soft toys, and also delight in a bit of clay fiddling, making hand-built ornaments and vases, besides some dabbling with papier-mache. One of my largest creations was a papier mache tree-house-doll-house for my daughters when they were young. That was heaps of work pounding the soggy paper/glue mixture into a clay type compound and a number of times I regretted starting it in the first place - but I thought of it and I just had to make it!
I'll post some photos of some of these things here soon. Might give you some ideas of things you can do that you may not have thought about yet!

Some other creations:
Flora Bunny
Here's a photo of my little Flora rabbit which I made a few years ago. Because I can't legally have a pet rabbit in Queensland I wanted to have one of my own anyway, so I designed and made Flora.
Well, one other anyway ... will add more in a few days time
Getting back to a bit of drawing at last
"The Lady in Stone'
(actually a close up study of a stone carving of an angel. . .
I'm enjoying getting back to a bit of drawing again. I find it very restful as I get in that 'zone' . . . lost in another world!
I plan to do many more pencil studies . . . and also use a bit of charcoal to get some good dark shading.
