Ed the edgy Emu
Ed is extremely inquisitive. He just popped out of the canvas one day and wouldn't stop staring at me!
Ed is the smallest of my Emu family with his little canvas world only measuring 25cm x 30cm (acrylic on canvas)
Ella Blue
Ella Blue is anything but 'blue'! She is a very happy bird who always sees the funny side of everything. Ella is a favourite of mine.
Ella Blue's canvas world measures 30cm x 40cm (acrylic on canvas).
Emma Emu
Emma is about to leave my family and join another. I hope she wil bring much enjoyment.
As you can see . . . Emma is a real bright-spark! She literally lights up the room when she struts in (she's also always ready to join in any conversation that's going - Emma thinks that everyone is entitled to her opinion!).
Estelle
Estelle is sweetness and innocence personified! She loves nothing more than romping and chomping in a sunny meadow full of flowers.
Estelle is dainty, measuring only 30.5cm x 30.5cm square, (acrylic on canvas).
Introducing . . . Ernest
Ernest is an exceptionally thoughtful and extremely serious bird ... perhaps it's something to do with his upbringing, I don't really know.
Ernest is at home on his canvas measuring 30cm x 40cm.
(Acrylic paint is the chosen medium).
Rasputin
Rasp-Putin likes to make his presence felt!
Doesn't seem to have a great sense of humour but certainly knows how to defend his flock.
Rasp towers head and shoulders above all the other emus, on a canvas measuring 51cm x 61cm, (acrylic on canvas).

Osmon Ostrich
Osmon Ostrich is rather bewildered. He often thinks he's an Emu - ever since he stumbled upon my little family of Emus. He's a distant cousin and is generally happy with his lot, though I must say he is easily confused and at times buries his head in the sand when he's embarrassed.
Osmon has something in common with his friend Erika. They met in the same field and they both live on a 46cm x 46cm square canvas (he doesn't abide make-up but has still opted for acrylic paint).
Introducing Erika
Erika was the second emu to stalk into my life. She was looking for her brother Eric who had already 'flown the coop'. He's gone to live with one of my daughters where he's enjoying hanging out.
Erika lives on a canvas 46cm x 46cm square and she is wearing acrylic paint as her make-up (actually that's acrylic paint behind her too). She is a real favourite of mine and as such I'm deciding whether I could let her leave.
