. . . and here are two of Towella's friends, Bunita VanVest and Bentley . . . These three bunnies are all from the same family (pattern). Bunita and Bentley are the best of furry friends, and will stay at home with me forever. Introducing OwElla OwElla was briefly among my flock of odd birds, but quickly flew the coop to live elsewhere. She was specially requested pre-hatch and sold at only a few days of age. She was 'bred' by special request and will be a Christmas surprise for someone special. The little while OwElla lived at my place she brought many smiles to our faces and was a real hoot with my other owls (check out the fellow Bright Sparks). Bronson just hopped right into my studio. He knows that I love rabbits and am very disappointed that I can't legally keep living-breathing ones in Queensland (so I collect the 'other' breed). Bronson chose now to arrive because he wanted to make sure I knew without a doubt that Rabbits have nothing whatsoever to do with Easter. . . Yes Bronson, I know that very well, but yes, I do appreciate hearing it straight from the Rabbit's mouth. Thank you. Here's Scruff the Silky Terrier. He is preparing to join his new home shortly - it seems he's only too willing to escape the inquisitive Emus that are starting to crowd out the place! Scruff has been sold already (pre-ordered before birth). He will be going to live with another Scruff that looks just like him! The colour in the photo of my painting is showing whiter than it actually is. I need a bit of tuition on my computer programme so that I can adjust the colour closer to the original. The photo I was given was quite small and not very detailed (not many of those helpful little pixies in it). The eyes are like black smudges and the nose/mouth detail was lost in blackness, so I had to do a bit of a study on this breed of dog so I could get the nose and eyes as close as possible without seeing the actual living, breathing K9.. Finally little Skruffy is about to have some company! One of his K9 friends will be joining the 'kennel' very soon. The next little chap is named Skruff would you believe! (must have been a popular name . . . then again . . . I guess it still is!)
The new Skruff already has an owner . . . he's been requested and will be adopted just as soon as he's mature enough to leave his 'mum'! I hope to be introducing him soon |
